This filter uses a combination of several filtration layers, each with its specific function:

1. A polypropylene layer captures larger mechanical impurities such as rust, sand, and fine particles from pipes.
   
2. Activated carbon reduces chlorine, helps eliminate unpleasant odors, and significantly improves the taste of water.
   
3. Activated alumina reduces selected inorganic substances and fine particles that may be present in tap water.
   
4. Calcium sulfite helps effectively reduce chlorine content and improves the overall water quality.
